In-House Fabrication and Custom Socket Design

In-house fabrication allows Infinity to maintain close communication between the clinician, fabrication team, patient, and referral source throughout the process.

For prosthetic patients, socket design is one of the most important parts of care. A well-designed socket can make a meaningful difference in stability, comfort, mobility, and long-term success.

Infinity creates custom sockets based on each patient’s limb shape, skin condition, volume changes, activity level, and functional goals. As needs change over time, our team provides adjustments and follow-up support to help maintain the best possible fit.

Designed for Function.
Personalized for Life.

A prosthesis should support how a patient moves, but it can also reflect who they are.

Many patients choose colors, patterns, artwork, themes, or personal design details that make their prosthesis feel more like their own. From bold graphics to subtle finishes, Infinity helps create prosthetic designs that support mobility while honoring each patient’s personality, lifestyle, and goals.

Traditional Fabrication and 3D-Printed Prosthetic Technology

Infinity uses both traditional fabrication methods and advanced 3D technology to create the right solution for each patient.

Traditional fabrication remains essential for detailed customization, durability, and hands-on problem solving. Infinity is also proud to be the first, and currently the only, provider in North Alabama offering 3D-printed prosthetics using the Protosthetics/Galileo system.

This technology supports a faster, cleaner, and more efficient fabrication process while preserving the personalized care and clinical expertise Infinity is known for.

At Infinity, technology does not replace individualized care. It expands what is possible.

Advanced Socket Solutions

Infinity’s fabrication team also works with advanced socket systems and component options designed to improve comfort, adjustability, and performance for the right patient.

For example, micro-adjustable socket systems such as RevoFit with BOA technology can allow patients to fine-tune socket compression throughout the day without removing the prosthesis. This can be especially helpful for patients who experience volume changes or need greater control over fit and comfort.

Infinity has the knowledge and expertise to address complex prosthetic cases, including bilateral, high-level, and other challenging or hard-to-fit amputations.

Coming Late 2026
Expanded Huntsville O&P Fabrication Lab

Infinity is expanding its fabrication capabilities with a larger, state-of-the-art O&P fabrication lab planned for Huntsville in late 2026.

This future lab is designed to support advanced custom fabrication, expanded technology, CAD/CAM processes, 3D printing, traditional fabrication methods, and future professional fabrication support for O&P practitioners and referral partners.

As the lab moves closer to completion, Infinity will share more details about available services, capabilities, and professional support opportunities.
