The Rehab Science division of Infinity Orthotics, Prosthetics and Rehab Science provides durable medical equipment and rehabilitative products designed to support recovery, improve function, and help patients manage pain through non-pharmaceutical and non-surgical options.

Rehab Science services often support patients before or after surgery, during rehabilitation, or while managing an injury, chronic condition, or mobility challenge. Our team works closely with prescribing physicians, clinical teams, referral sources, and patients to help ensure each product is properly fitted, clearly explained, and aligned with the patient’s care plan.

Recovery can feel overwhelming, especially when patients are managing pain, limited mobility, or a new device at home. Infinity helps make that process easier by providing prescribed products, clear instructions, and ongoing support.

Some patients need temporary support before or after a procedure. Others need longer-term rehabilitative products to help with comfort, stability, healing, mobility, or daily function. Rehab Science Products We Provide

Muscle Stimulation

Muscle stimulation units may be prescribed to support pain management, muscle function, or rehabilitation. Infinity provides instruction on proper use so patients feel confident using their device at home.

Cold Therapy

Cold therapy devices are often used after surgery or injury to help support comfort and recovery. Our team helps patients understand how to set up, use, and care for their prescribed equipment.

Lymphedema Pumps

Lymphedema pumps may be prescribed to help patients manage chronic swelling, fluid buildup, or certain venous and lymphatic conditions. These devices use pneumatic compression through specialized sleeves or garments to support circulation and help move excess fluid from affected areas.

Bone Growth Stimulation

Bone growth stimulators may be prescribed to support healing in certain fractures, spinal fusions, or other bone-healing situations. Our team helps patients understand how the device fits into their recovery plan and how to use it consistently.

Bracing and Support

Infinity provides a variety of braces and supportive devices, including spinal braces, knee braces, prefabricated orthotics, and other products designed to support stability, alignment, protection, and mobility.

One of the most important parts of Rehab Science is continuity of care.

Infinity works with physicians, surgeons, and clinical teams across North Alabama to help patients receive the prescribed products they need without unnecessary confusion or delay. Our role is to support the provider’s treatment plan by helping with product coordination, fitting, patient education, documentation, and follow-up support.

In addition to serving patients at our Infinity locations, our Rehab Science team also works with select provider offices to help make durable medical equipment services more accessible within the clinical setting. This allows patients to receive prescribed products and instruction through a more streamlined process, while helping practices offer a smoother experience for their patients.
